What a fabulous pony! I would have killed for a pony like that as a child!

Although the price is high, I think if he is everything they said he is, he is worth it
 
The only real way is to go and see and try. Most adverts can be meaningless until you actually ring,go and try all you want to do with the horse etc. Looks nice but so do lots of horses. Ask lots of questions etc if you go. I didnt look at price it can be kinda irrelevant.
 
When you say they need the next stage up, do you mean in size or ability? 13.2 to 14.1 isn't much of a step if its height..

From the photos I thought he was a tad over priced. When I watched the video, I thought he was fairly priced. For a childs pony that will safely and sanely jump round everything people will pay. He will look even better in summer with his darker coat, palominos often look a bit washed out in winter, especially clipped. For a good reliable pc pony they will definately sell him sooner or later at that price. Definately worth a look.
 
I thought a bit overpriced in the current market, friend of my daughter's pony admittedly a couple of years older, but an absolute gentleman to ride and handle was sold for about 4.5K and was very highly respected having represented PC for XC and SJ, and also scored 70% + in dressage, and went to another pony club home.
