We had a horse vetted and the vet said she had passed the vetting but he wouldn't buy because of the weaving - he said it could become a big problem.

Thats rubbish, we had a pony that weaved at feedtimes, and he was a brill in all other ways, Bsja reg jc now, after a while he got alot better and hardly did it, you cant write a horse off because it weaves !,
Im interested to see if you bought it ?? did you ??

No - not because of that but because it didn't feel right. We bought another - an orange tb gelding with a worse vice - he cribs and windsucks!!!! Serves me right eh!!!

It not rubbish at all- I have had a terrible time with my mare with problems caused by weaving. I never had a problem with weaving and still don't but I won't ever put myself through it again. It is heartbreaking to watch a horse that stressed and not be able to do anything.

It also makes any problems which do occur because of the weaving virtually impossible to sort as stopping a horse weaving is near impossible- believe me we tried everything.

Remember simple things like box rest become an absolute nightmare.

If the horse has a slight rock once or twice at feedtime I might concider it but I would run a mile from a full blown weaver. That price suggests to me it is a full blown weaver.

If you do decide to go for it she seems a lovely type out of the stable and good luck with your viewing
