Hi all, I took my girl out first time in trailer last Sunday and ended up tieing her on string to bars on window. She's a great traveler but I was scared if anything was to happen she would pull it off. Should I put a safety clip bungee rope to the window? Or can I put a safety tie in? I'm new to this thanks :)

Mine has a ring attached to top corner of door frame. Or you could add baling twine to where the breast bar slots in and tie to there. Or is there somewhere you can tie string across the top of front - that's where my haynet is tied to. Not sure the window bars would be secure enough? Is it a double trailer with partition? If so, again add baling twine or a safety tie to the head divider and tie to there.

Hi , I did tie it to the breastbar slot but she tried going under the bar and turning around as rope was too long. Theirs a hook on roof that I tied her haynet to with string but wasn't sure about tieing my mare onto it? It's a single trailer towed lovely.

The tie ring is the hook above her head. I only tow with one so dont have the head guard attached to my partition so to tie my haynet up i have looped string round the ground rest on the out side of the front ramp and then poked to loop of string over the ramp into the inside of the trailer and then shut the top door. I tie my haynet to the string.
My new pony hasnt been in my trailer yet so may have to modify the idea if she cant reach as shes only 12.2hh.

Ok thanks. I might do same as you and put string around ramp. They could of put tie rings up in trailer when they made it lol. Other than that I can't fault the trailer, it has 4 rings to tie her to on outside but only one on inside
