I ticked Other - Fittening

With 6 hunters to get fit, it's not really for leisure and fun (particularly not by the time you get on the 6th!)

I always used to school when hacking - and managed to event to BE Intermediate without an arena :)

fittness and something diffrent really although he has his first taste of xc jumping logs in the field and his canter work is better in the field try to get out round the fields as much as possible dont do much road work as we have direct access to off road hacking but will do it occasionally I also think it is a good education for a younger horse

I don't have a school so use hacking as a schooling opportunity and a chance to get my horse fit.
I also love being out and about in the countryside and exploring new places, just me, the horse and something to eat and drink and a map.

I have ticked a bit of both. I do not have a school and hate being in a school anyway! :)

I hack for fun, but I also use it for schooling and getting the horse competition fit.

Ticked "other" as use hacking for fitness and for horse to get to see the world so when we are at an event he doesn't freak with sheep etc.

Occasionally go for a very long chill out hack - which is purely self indulgent and escaping the world for me(although I always incorporate hill work and a water crossing into the long hacks just for good measure for him)!

Fittening, Schooling, fun, exercise :)

Also to "bolden" a horse if that makes sense!

To make them quick thinking and clever with their feet - we sometimes go to a country park which has forests and lots of little ditches/rivers and fallen trees :)
Also makes them quick to turn as well :o
