I've been invited to go along to some UA SJ this weekend with a friend... I'm quite up for going, but haven't been for ages and ages so have no idea what people wear and no longer have a showjumping jacket as I mainly hunt these days! I have either a black hunt coat or a tweed jacket, white/coloured stocks, and I *think* I have some tendon boots stashed away somewhere. t's all very well being all the gear no idea, but none of the gear and no idea isn't very appealing either!! :D

Does this sound ok? What do you wear? Pics welcome!!

People wear various gear at unaff, we tend to event and have the kit for that discipline so riders from my yard wear tweed for everything and always look smart, there is no need to boot your horse just because everyone else does, just turn out fairly smartly out of respect for the judges/ venue and have fun.

Ditto be positive. What you wear for hunting is fine - quite probably smarter than some depending on the venue. And absolutely don't boot out of fashion - so many do!

Not a very flattering photo of my bum but the only one I seem to have at the moment! Basically white jods, navy blue jacket, cravat with a horse shoe broach, show shirt, black riding boots. Horse usually has white exercise bandages (more supportive than boots for his previous injuries) and white saddle cloth, black tack. Oh and I have started wearing an air jacket over my jacket now!

I wear whatever is clean and fits the weather conditions. If it's cold or wet I wear tweed with beige jods, shirt and tie. If it's dry and reasonably warm I wear show jacket, white jods, show shirt and stock.

As its freezing, I'm choosing my navy hunt coat with waistcoat and thermals!!! In summer when it was cooler, my tweed is lighter weight.

Call me fickle!!!!

I usually wear my navy jacket with cream breeches and my horse wears the usual tendon / fetlock boot combination. But, this is because we event so again we have plenty of gear (maybe a bit too much actually)

Sounds like you have more than enough to look smart / fit in.
