What do you wear to ride?

Whatever I was wearing in the house + wellies and a hat!
Luckily we don't have central heating, so usually several substantial layers :D

I ride in jeans - I feel odd riding in jods these days! & recently wellies too. Very non BHS

Ha ha, Im totally not BHS and often wear really scruffy (out of shape) jogging bottoms with Dubarrys and an old manky hoodie... but my horses are at home so Im not seen close up by anyone (other than passing traffic...). For lessons I do make the effort to wear jods and a T-shirt or hoodie. I used to wear jeans, depends what comfy ones I have lying about that arent decent enough for walking out the door anymore. Im the type of person who feeds my horses in the mornings still in my PJ's (and usually a bright pink fleece dressing gown over the top) with wellies, so classy.

Jeans or jods depending on whats clean, wellies or boots depending on how muddy it is, usually some sort of polo top or fleece, hat, and loads of hi viz :)

I am again not very correct.
Usually a mixture of jeans either with or without full leather chaps. I have a lovely pair custom made for me by a saddler.
Lycra running tights. Good with nettles etc about rather than shorts.
Shorts usually short rugby Shorts.
Top a t shirt often sleeveless or rugby shirt depending on the weather. Then a waxed coat if colder or wet.
Half the time I ride bareback but do ride in shorts with a saddle as I keep my leg very still.
I do wear a hat.
Bareback trainers with a saddle dealer boots.

Bareback reduces the weight carried by around 10Kg and gives a much better connection.
Yes I do ride at all paces and jump both bareback and with a saddle.
I was taught to ride bareback and had to earn the right to a saddle.
