I go to the yard before work & have not long started a new job so I would like to look presentable, waterproofs are fine & keep my work clothes clean but what do you all wear on your heads because I always end up with wet hair !!

Nothing on my head aside from a wooly hat in winter, but I go to work with wet hair everyday, I hate using hair dryers so it makes no odds to me :D

Same here! Sometimes if I'm not wearing a hat I might tie a scarf round my hair to stop it smelling

I leave my hair uncovered. Wet hair dries so I shake it upside down then brush. If I wear any kind of hat I get horrendous hat hair which I way worse than wet hair!

They're quite used to me turning up looking like I've just swum across the Atlantic (luckily my hair dries straight!) but in situations where I have to look decent at 8:00 then a pink floral shower cap has made an appearance...

I like the idea of a shower cap new job I don't think they know any horsey people & the other ladies like to look glamorous at work - so I'm trying not to frighten them when I turn up looking a bit dishevelled !!!
I would normally of worn a basball cap so looking for something a bit better & I've not yet taken to cleaning iwater buckets with my head yet.... But there is still time xxx

What I wear to work!!!!! I work in an agri merchants and can end up pretty dirty by the end of the day due to the environment, some deliveries come in with pallet wrap covered in dust from the warehouses, so thank god I have no need to change for work!!

The best thing I found was disposable boiler suits, they have hoods too. I borrowed some from work:o, so not 100% where you would get them from. Would imagine agricultural suppliers
They literally cover you from head to toe, so you don't smell when you get to the office:)

In the winter I wear an anorak with a hood. A shower cap!!! Knowing me I would leave it on and my work colleagues wouldn't mention it because they would assume it it was a latest eccentricity :o

But a good point to cover your hair. The smell of mucking out does cling. An old-fashioned trilby would look quite stylish.

If you go for spray suits (chemical protective suits for farmers) they have hoods, but you will look very special at the yard! A proper cotten boiler suit would work except for your hair. I think shower cap a good idea, or a head scarf a la Queen if you have long hair. Nothing worse than the smell of horse wee after mucking out - ask friends if they can smell you as a test!
