Just wondering really  When you go to the yard and have no intention on riding, what do you wear? I tend to opt for sports trousers/ joggers but cant help feeling that I look a bit of a tramp. Do you embrace the inner tramp? :p

Jeans. Or, sometimes after work, smart trousers tucked into wellies. On rare occasions a skirt or dress and wellies. It isn't a 'yard' as such so there aren't many people to see.

jogging bottoms or cheap cargos from newlook! I almost always end up in a state so never wear anything nice! but if I do I'll put joggers on top to keep my nice clothes clean!

Leggings or jeans, I ride in them too. Farm is round the corner, so if just popping up quickly, whatever I have on. Summer, wear shorts if its warm, & stick pants on to ride. Wkend ams often nip round early in pjs & wellies to turn out in winter, or pjs & any footwear to do am check in summer.

If after work I tend to tuck my smart work trousers into my long boots

I have also been known to wear joggers tucked in said boots if not riding

Don't overly care what I look like up the yard as H doesn't!

I also don't wear make up and tend to have weekend hair :p

Oh dear - it's just jeans for me, but they are stretchy enough to ride in if I have to. I doooo have so many clothes, and some really nice jeans, but they never get put on.

i think it would be different if i was working - though in the RSPCA it was just uniform.

Oh an I DETEST clothes shopping !

Winter: Jodhs or breeches all the time - the only comfy things that slide into long winter Grasmere boots so easily :)
Otherwise after work its shoving on yard wellies for the 20 mins or so when I'm there in the darkest part of winter.

Summer, its prob jeans on the morning run before work.

Jeans, I ride in them too like leviathan :D I just don't fancy the idea of walking up to the field past a busy main road in bottom hugging johds coz I hate the feeling that people might look at my bum :o I get quite embarrassed even though I've got a little bum :o

Jeans as I try not to embrace the wellies and joggers farmer look too often, but the joggers come out as soon as wellies are not required and I can go down to the field in silly lady pumps! To be honest I wear jods when possible as they're the only clothes I don't wear elsewhere, if I wear jeans I go out/to uni straight after and always have mud on me!

I don't own any jods/breeches, I wear leggings, jeans or joggers to ride and do yard work in, usually with a long top. If not riding and coming straight from work i wear whatever im in with wellies. Truth be told i look like a hobo most of the time.

Never where jods unless I'm competing. Usually wear jeans and dealer boots. When it's cold either joggers or snowboard trousers. Think jods are really unflattering.

Stretchy skinny jeans, leggings or stretchy skinny joddies and fitted "proper" wellies or Dublin leather boots. Fleece top or puffa, depending on how cold, atm!

I either wear jeans, jogger or my fave is fleece lined hiking trousers, leggings with waterproofs over the top. I get cold in winter and will not be at yard or work yard with out two pairs of trousers. So jods will have either full chap waterproofs or full waterproofs.

Usually jeans, possibly shorts in the summer and in the winter I'll chuck ski trousers on top of thermals but unless I'm competing then I generally don't wear jods
