Mine was passported as 16.1 at 4 but by 7 she was around 17h

Yup I’ve had plenty grow on. I hope this one does too but I’ve got a sneaky suspicion he won’t by much.
15hh at 2, 15.1hh at 3 and currently 15.2hh at 4. If he makes 16hh I’ll count myself lucky.

glad to hear others have the gangly stage going on. my 2 year old seems to be shooting out in different directions! his coat went weird moulting, so he just looks like a weird gangly moulting wonky teenager!View attachment 46152

I had to do a double take for a moment, he looks so like my boy, the only thing missing is the white socks!

My gelding looked so sad at 2, very very narrow, gangly, tufty coat still, i couldnt believe the difference at 3....the improvement is like ageing a wine! At 8 he’s just stunning....like dappled sunlight hitting a cloud, weight in all the right places, and a lovely curious, fearless personality. He looked like he’d never make anything of himself at 2!

Meant to say my boy is standing 14.3/15hh at his bum and has been on Suregrow Youngstock balancer from 6months until a week or so ago. I moved him onto Youngstock cubes mixed with alfalfa cubes and equimins tip-top powder as he’s gone down to one feed and the amount of balancer that I’d have to feed him I couldn’t put in one feed Would be too much as its recommended to be out in 2/3 feeds.

Bobbie, the darker one, is full up 14.1hh and he's not far off her height. 14.2hh is the maximum height for Highlands so I think he's going to go over height.
