Magic Bum & Teddy fancied a bit of a change today, so decided to box up and go to Summerhouse to use the course there

Teddy hasn't done alot of jumping and this was the first time Magic Bum has taken him anywhere to jump... he jumps amazingly at home and we were really pleased that he thoroughly enjoyed his trip out to see some sticks and didn't bat an eyelid at any of the new fences

Please excuse the poor photography, HG isn't that great with cameras

They looked to be really enjoying themselves (even over the spooky water tray filler) and a lovely shape over a fence.

Great to see dressage horses having fun (not a dig BTW)!!!!

Every time I see Ted he looks stronger and more developed I bet you are so glad you have a good rider on him to teach him the correct ways of doing dressage and jumping..I hope Ted shows them all how it is done

tigers eye - yes under saddle and loose!! The only studbook I know they don't have to jump if going forward as a dressage horse is the AES.

Fiona - yes he LOVED it... I think the rider enjoyed it too!

DD - he didn't bat an eyelid at either of the water trays!!

No plans to register BSJA at the mo that I know of, that is Magic Bum's decision, but I do know he has started working on his elementary movements ready to step him up a class later in the year

sorrow - Thankies for your lovely comments!!

Yes I think Magic Bum has done an excellent job of producing him, when I look back at his old pictures, the difference is unbelieveable, its like looking at two different horses!

CSJ - They have their disks permanently on their jumping bridles, saves having to look for them

**whispers** I haven't a clue where any of our ribbon is... lol!

Weezy - I'm pretty sure they do as I missed all the classes last summer one day and hired it and the course for £15 for 15mins schooling time on that day (then paired up with someone else, had half an hour and someone to put jumps up for me!)

Christ that is expensive

I would want it for 30mins at least (P is sh!t scared of the banners you see), would need to pay someone to come with me, then diesel - yikes!

Watched Teddy jumping at home on Boxing Day. He is a very natural, talented jumper. Good to hear he is doing the same away from home especially with his grading coming up and as my mare's potential husband!
