What does anyone know what this disk is? (BSJA)

Sorry for huge image!

I received my BSJA registration documents today, with the rule book etc, badges and there was a metal disk with the BSJA logo on it. My immediate though was that it's a drinks coaster or a tax disk holder, but there's a hole at the top. Does anyone know what this is?

Obviously old stock from before the name change! We got one a few years ago, wrote horse's name on it, and put it in the tack room!

No idea but mine is used as a coaster next to my computer! (Yes I know drinks and computers don't mix!)

i worte my horseys name on the grey bit and hung it by my stable, another livery has written horses name on it then nailed it in with very long nail (leaving some sticking out) and uses it to hang up a headcollar/leadrope

I've got one of those as well. I thought it was a nameplate for a stable door (after you have written name on of course!).

it looks like you write something on the grey bit and nail it to stable door/tack room or something someone at my yard has a disk thing with the name of a championhips she went to on it nailed to her horse's door, maybe it's like that?

I received one when they were originally sent out, it is supposed to be a name plate for the stable door. never used mine!
