Hi all,
Just splashed out on a pair of the Mountain Horse supreme high riders after my Broginis zip broke, getting the Broginis fixed so my MH ones will only be for competition but wanted to know of any good tips for getting them extra clean and shiny?
Thanks

I use Ariat boot polish on my bromonts, I put a layer on and work it in well, then leave overnight and buff off in the morning.
A wipe over with urad cream on top gives them a really nice shine.

Chopped up old t shirts or socks make really good buffing cloths :) Can't seem to get as good a shine with anything else!

I actually use the Effax leather balsm. Cleans them up really well and gives them a bit of a shine. But I've also found a black leather staining type stuff from morrisons which works wonders after cleaning to get them really bright! Cant think what it is called but was just an own branded thing and was in a little bottle with a circular sponge on the top to work it into the leather.

Remove any mud or grease with warm water and cloth then old fashioned black shoe polish - rub in with one soft brush then and spit and polish with another softer brush to buff.

Parade gloss gives an amazing shine. I put the polish on and then leave as long as possible, then polish off. I am old school and use a set of brushes to polish off but finish off with a cloth. The best I have found are cheap microfibres cloths, I think I got 5 for £1, they bring out the final, shine and make sure there's no residual polish on the boots.
