What does your horse do that makes you laugh!

Whenever I finish riding and untack, I put the saddle away and go into the feed room to mix her tea.

Everyday when I walk out of the tack room to feed store she gazes at me really hard and gives these really worried, panicked nickers out of her nose as if to say
"Don't forget that its tea time now mum".

It always makes me laugh because i never do forget but she gets so worried that I might

mceeaw, my boy does that too (apart from not having much balance, he gets so over excited and tries to wave too many legs at once and falls over. He also checks every bucket, and has mushed up a bag of apples that he couldn't get into!

LOL at the horses playing with sticks! I've never seen Flash do it, but we find branches from the trees all over the fields, and he likes to carry my whip for me

It's so funny how they are so smart in some ways yet so daft in others. They get feed religiously at the same time every day, yet still act as if they never get fed/ you might forget!

Mine still does her "begging waggle" with her leg even while face down in her feed bucket!

Some great stories on here about people's horses very amusing and endearing at the same time.
Horses are truly the most amazing creatures in my opinion.

If Star can hear me but not see me she breaks free and comes to find me which is quite funny. If I was in Sandy's stable and someone came to talk to me over the door she would put herself between me and them and put her ears back as she got so jealous. And....finally Holly used to play touch chase with my husband she was a right case though! She also used to want to stand on boxes, mounting blocks etc and I'd never been near a parelli dvd, she just liked being king of the castle!

Brads does a few things that make me laugh.

If hes bored and noone is giving him any attention he blows raspberries at you. I've gotten a few funny looks from people at the yard thinking its me!!

Every day without fail manages to get the top half of his fly mask off so that the ears are halfway down his face.

Gets the hump and has a right face on if I'm late or have forgotten a treat for him.

This thread has had me in stitches.

Gypsy loves a fuss in her old age so will come over and stand between me and another horse if she thinks I am giving them too much attention. She remembers me when ever I go home and gives me a special whicker.

She always curls her top lip up (flehmen?) after having a polo too. Oh and loves having a scratch inbetween her front legs.

Septre will lick your hand after giving her a treat. She'll do it for ages. Once the treats are gone she walks off though. Lives for food alone that one LOL.

When Jethro neighs, he sounds like a fanbelt. I'm hoping his voice will break soon! He always comes over to say hello and gives me a kiss- which is sweet unless he has a snotty/dirty nose. When you scratch him he likes to groom me back and if I am squatting to do so he tries to sit on my knee.

Amber likes a cuddle in the morning, she comes up to me and rests her head on my chest so I can put my arms round her nose. When on box rest she used to enjoy camomile tea and rich tea biscuits (not spolit at all). She likes to groom me back when I brush her and when sedated she rest her head on me and snores!

A horse I was looking after used to always want a cuddle and if she wanted an ear sctrach she'd stand at the side of me and tilt her head.

I do love horses, they are just so wonderful.
