Boring question but I have been thinking about getting a pup (not until mid 2011!) and just curious as to what you all have.

Ideally I'd like two dogs - one terrier and one larger dog - but I think that's asking a lot!

I'd like a terrier thats a cross between a Jack Russel, or Westie, something rough looking :) and a Pointer.

Please go ahead and post pics - especially if you have either of the above!

I'll look forward to your replies :)

I have a british bulldog and a bullmastiff but i'm rubbish at pics. Maybe that should be my news years resolution - to learn how to do them.
 
Ohh Jojo both are lovely but I especially like your Pointer!

I remember riding in the woods back in the summer and twice saw a man with one, her was liver chestnut with white brindle type colouring and stunning! Ever since then I've wanted one :)

1 shaggy heinz 57
1 bull type lurcher
1 cavalier (half a dog but a dog all the same):D
2 whippets

I will find the link for my wirey pointer, as takes to long to search through photo bucket and I posted a pic a few days ago.

Sidney 7 year old dream boat Bedlington x Standard Poodle the most Perfect dog in the world!!
Sumo 4 year old JRT who thinks he's a lap dog.
And Norris 1 year old lunatic badly behaved Lurcher.

All rescues, all fabulous and all completely insane!!! :D
 
Jenbleep- Thank you. They are such a lovely breed, loves running, playing, needs lots of exercise but also loves to lay around and cuddle. Hes very dopey and always has to please.
 
I have a 7 month old Border Terrier puppy, she is spoilt rotten! I also have a 14 year old Border who lives with my parents and their 4 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback :)
 
I have an English Setter who has the loveliest nature of any dog I have every known. She is just so loving and will put up with anything. Great dogs if you have children although they are notoriously keen on wandering and quite tricky to train. I also have a West Highland Terrier and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are very playful but they don't need a person or another dog to play with - they are more than happy running round the garden amusing themselves. They are so loyal and ridiculously happy all the time. My little one has issues understanding that not everybody adores her :P

I also have a miniature shetland :D ( Well HE thinks he's a dog :P )

I have to say that my pointer has the best nature! She is sooo sweet and loving - very dopey though. She has a really thin coat so feels the cold in winter and tends to fall asleep in front of the fire standing up...then falls INTO the fire! So we have to watch her, silly girl. Haven't got any pics on this computer cos I'm at work but I'll try and find some tonight for you :)
 
I have three dogs now, and last year we were not going to have any more dogs after our old one!!
I have a 16yr old lab x, a 5 yr old schnoodle (mini schnauzer x mini poodle) and 10month old jrtx. All rescues and all lovely.

He is an amazing dog but extremely high energy, doesn't sleep unless it is dark outside (if it's light you still might go for a walk!), can't sit still for longer than 3 seconds...!
