If you had a house with 8+ acres of land, stables and a floodlit manege, and your OH wanted you to work, and he was willing to 'set you up in business', what would you choose to do?

Livery
Horse Transportation (Bro builds horseboxes, so could get a custom made)
Holiday Livery
Train as an Equine Therapist (Physio)
Buy and sell horses (very small time dealer)
Buy youngsters, back them and sell
Breed

..... is there anything I have missed? What are the possible pit falls for each of the above?

Comment, opinions and all advice welcome! :)

There is no money at present in dealing or breeding in my opinion ,There are quality horses and youngstock on the market not selling at the moment. I bred a younster to keep and I have just what I wanted and he is fabulous but it wasn't a cheap option even if I had intended to sell at weaning or a yearling.
Horse transport you would need to build a regular client base, I suppose it depends on how much horse stuff is going on around you or if you have a Vet hospital or events going on locally as that would bring trade.
Equine physio I have found mostly they travel to you so the stables land and arena would not be used again need a good client base.
Holiday livery or retirement livery could work particularly if you can offer a good standard of care (do you have BHS qualifications?)
If you have good riding near by and close holiday lets you could offer people a horsey holiday i.e work with someone renting holiday cottges and you would take horses for full livery while they rent the cottage.
Might be worth putting up some sort of outside small cross country facility to give a bit of added excitement
Just my thoughts
