What equipment do you 'leave' in your live in lorries?

So I am very lucky girl and hubby has just bought me a lorry with living and I need to kit it out with 'stuff' to basically make going out to shows and quick load up affair. Would be very grateful if any advice or tips for those who have experience of this already ie what do you leave in the lorry (parked at yard at home behind locked gates so security isn't too much of an issue) many thanks
 
The above plus hi vis, boots, rugs (in case of rain etc.), grooming kit, wash down gear, a couple of lunge lines, spare travelling boots, fly spray, water container and plenty of buckets.

Also mucking out stuff (brush, shavings fork, trug)
Some non perishable food crisps, cereal bars etc
Portapotty (if you don't have a toilet already built in)
Lunge line for loading emergencies
Spare rug (an old one)

I've never had a lorry but I used to have a 4x4 just for towing and that always had in a first aid kit in the glove box, duct/electricians' tape, spare change (at least enough to buy an emergency bacon butty and brew in case I forgot my wallet), phone charger, spare gloves, loo roll, baby wipes and a roll of bin bags. Every single item came in at some point.
I would want to keep a waterproof and a hat in a lorry if I had one.
 
As above plus a full change of clothing in case of water jump disaster, a food store for a full meal in case of huge delay in case we break down, an emergency triangle thing, a duvet, water bottles, shovel, emergency numbers, riding hat, air jacket, hair tying up stuff, sun cream, gloves, whips, chocolate, kitchen roll, tea, coffee, ...

A lot of that came in handy when I and my horse were submerged in a water jump in a snow storm. We were soon toasty in the box, spare rugs on, I had a change of clothes and a hot meal before setting off.
 
Everything I need to make meals colander , micrograter plate oven dishes .
Mugs and paper coffee cups
Coffee tea etc tinned soup dog biscults ,water Diet Coke .
Bag of clothes waterproofs spare warm fleece.
Human fist aid kit .
And shower gel stuff like that .
I always have 2 towels and a bath mat .
I have a torches , fire extinguisher hi viz vests ( under driver seat )
Dog leads always by door when travelling in case of fire .
Money hidden in fact so well hidden when I sold my last lorry it was still In it because I could not find it .

Horse stuff
Hoses including drain hoses
Buckets including low one that can get under skirts .
Tack cleaning stuff boot cleaning stuff, whip Spurs .
Grooming and plaiting stuff
First aid
Bonner bandages for cooling legs .
Treats
Towels spare rugs and coolers,
bags for hay nets
Set steps that double as mounting block .
Headcollar and rope .
Riot gear for loading emergencies .
Gloves
Spare reins stirrups and leathers .

Also have fuses in all sizes this is a good idea as they can get you home in an emergency
Jump leads ( heavy duty )
Tools ( MrGS deals with this so not sure what )
A book with all the instructions about the truck .
A emergency card with all the numbers for tyres roadside rescue etc .in the front of the truck .
You get a lot of stuff in a truck !!!!
 
Ohh fuses and jump leads are a good idea...

We had a fuse blow recently, fortunately it was only to the dash so lorry still driveable, but we were lucky..

Good list, I've got most of these on my truck but there are some I'm going to add.
Tried having some food left on the lorry but my oh is fussy and never wanted what was on the lorry at the time so had to pack stuff every trip, luckily he doubles up as my mechanic and driver so I forgive him ;)
 
I have some items in plastic containers with fitted lids of various, appropriate sizes, so they can be lifted in and out easily if the box is not going out for a few weeks.I also keep spare girth, leathers, etc. I've lent out a girth before when someone forgot theirs. Once, the poor girl next to me had her horse stand on his reins and snap his bridle, between a few of us we cobbled a bridle together, some brown, some black, and she won her class! Always have paracetamol. I also have spare underwear and socks! Not used the underwear but have arrived at a summer show with daughter in sandals and no socks before now!

The pin that fits on the front bumper for towing out of muddy fields
Studs
Boots if used
Show jacket, hat, spare breeches, spurs, stick, tie/stock, gloves, clothes brush.
Bridle number, number bib
Toothpaste and brush, deodorant, (shampoo and shower gel if you have a shower)
Waterproofs

Don't leave any type of food in your lorries Last year I managed to get mice and rats in the lorry at different times due to leaving non perishable food!! Now I always take it out. They are both a pain in the backside to get rid off!!!
 
Nothing. My father's boat got robbed from a mooring in the middle of the sea. Leave nothing important or precious. They even stole his outboard, telly & fridge. If they can scuba to a boat to rob it, a horsebox is nothing.

I always store all foods in those lock it type plastic containers .
 
Things that haven't been mentioned.
I'm adding paracetamol, Ibrofen and Antihistamines in to mine. Handy to have and little space.
Folding chairs.
 
Please don't leave too much in your trucks especially passports. My lorry was stolen from behind locked gates & we are a tucked away dead end road that even friends with directions struggle to find. It had all our passports , jump leads, tools, spares of everything. That was a year ago and I still go to get something only to realise it was still on there. Passports took nearly 6 months to replace (£75 each plus vet to scan chips to confirm & 3 vet practices to re- enter vaccination info)

I often think of you, even though I don't know you - every time I see a tristar box :(

I do tend to leave my cob's passport in the box as she's the only one doing anything at the moment, but you are right, it's probably not sensible. Other stuff is cheap and easily replaced (spare grooming kit, first aid kit etc).
