What flea treatment do you use on your cats and dogs? Found that everything I use is complete rubbish!

Frontline Combo/Plus - the normal frontline is useless!

Another one for Frontline Combo.

Anything you buy from pet shops isn't strong enough so is unlikely to work unless your dog is in 24/7 in completely sterile conditions in which case they probably don't need anything at all.

You can get frontline from your vet.

I put the herbal supplement "Billy No Mates" from CSJ in their food. Have done this for the last 2 years and we've had no sign of fleas at all. It also makes them smell nice (I think!) If only it worked on head lice on children I'd be laughing!!

I use Prac-tic on my Dobes from the vet, the Lancashire Heeler pup is on advocate. I am going to change to Billy No Mates for the fleas but will have to find something for the ticks. We get a lot of deer here and I always worry about Lymes disease so it will have to be something good to get rid of any stray ticks.

actually I'm lying I use advocate for Flora on occasion but flea treatment I meant advantage
ets now I'm well confused maybe I mean advantix...oh bum, one of them anyway!

advantix is the one I meant, the one that does ticks as well as fleas!
