Does anyone know which fly sprays/repellants/gels/wipes etc actually work? I have tried(to no avail) the NAF pink one and the Deet version and these dont repel any flies. We are currently being harrased by horse flies. Are there any brands of repellants that deter horse flies as its making my horses and my life a misery.

Cheers guys.....

oooh apparently barrier super plus fly repellent works and theres another one but cant remember its name

Bens 100.

It is 100% DEET. It is made for humans in tropical conditions - fantastic stuff! £8 for a teeny tiny bottle, but it's good for ears/sensetive areas that only need a squirt.

I fin dif you spray 2 squirts of Ben's 100 with Ben's afterbite cream, and mix it in you palm, rub it in the ears and it soothes/repels/protects/goes further!

Citronella is the only fly repellant I have found effective. You can still buy citronella oil at chemist and make up your own spray using various carriers (tea/vinegar/water are all popular, but it is the citronella that works).

What does the Dynamite smell like? Is it good against midges and horse flies and how long lasting is it.
