... does your horse prefer? Harley will eat apples and oranges happily, loves bananas with their skin on, won't tolerate grapefruit, but strawberries, grapes etc all good.

The most fun ever was feeding him a pineapple! Just hold the stalky bit and he devoured the rest pretty quick (before the mare realised what was going on!). I was sticking to the car steering wheel on the way home...

Think I've mentioned this before here but Sunny LUUURVES a whole swede or a whole cabbage left on his stable floor... they last about 5 mins! He would sell his soul for carrots and apples and I have recently discovered that he likes sprouts! THAT'S why God made them!!!!!!!

my boy will eat anything. stole some poor PCers candyfloss at a little show i took him to - she underestimated how far he could reach

also stole a banana skin from a wheelbarrow outside his stable, scoffed it down before i had the chance to get it off him, i fed him a banana and he loved it! also loves apples, carrots and oranges, not so fond of swedes and cabbage, but he will eat it, just leaves it till last

i stuck a cabbage in a haylage net last week, he loved it provided lots of playtime. he also likes a swede hung up too. and all the norm of course, carrots, apple etc. he eats oranges (very rarely) and peaches (rarely) and broccoli.

Mine loves bananas. Once, I'd brought him a bunch of about 4 bananas to put in his tea over a few days. I put them away so he wouldn't find them. He had other ideas and ate the whole lot with the skins on when my back was turned! And once my sister left an unpeeled orange on his stable wall and he hoovered that up too

The mare I just sold will eat anything. Loves all the uasual carrots, apples sweede etc, but also broccoli, bean and courgettes though the later make her drool and froth like she has rabies or something! My friends pony is really old and has lost all his back teeth so loves bananas as they are so soft

The favourites for my lot are carrots, parsnips, apples and banans - with skins. They are really not very keen on any greens or turnip/swede.
