Just for fun obvious answers not allowed, it's got to be something they wouldn't think of but that you think is invaluable around horses.

Me:
Fingerless gloves!

A spring loaded clip, like those on a dog lead to place in the appropriate hole built into most bolts to defeat the horse when he learns to undo the bolt.

Really good winter gloves, and really good winter socks. Amazing the difference it makes, having warm hands and feet...

A timeturner.

Horse injures himself in field? No problem, just go back to that morning and keep him in.

The possibilities are endless :D

They're real right? Right?

A laundry basket (or some such container) for the boot of their car to keep all the horsey things together and to keep the dirty things away from non horsey things.

One of my friends gave me a pair of waterproof trousers when I got my pony, have wore them so much after 5 years they are no longer waterproof not only did they keep me dry but also clean.

a pair of headphones, attached to a very loud i pod/radio- so they can put them in and ignore all the tittle tattle, gossiping and idle nastiness that often occupies livery yards :D

Babywipes, lots & lots of babywipes. Good for emergency cleaning of tack, child, pony, boots, 1/2 chaps & anything else that may need cleaned
