What girth do you use on your cobs?

I also use a cottage craft one, with a sheep skin sleeve. My saddler recommend something without stretch for my cob.

Ive got the Thorowgood Cob girth, its shaped and it has no elastic on it, Its lovely and soft too. My saddler reccomended it to me and im impressed!!

An atherston leather girth from Flyde Saddlery - beautiful soft leather that has never rubbed or chaffed. That said, he is not a table top really wide cob but more of a horse shape due to the tiny bit of trotter in him. I also use the same type of girth on Farra Clydesdale.

I use a prolite girth cover, the saddle never slips and my mare is comfortable in it.

A padded double elasticated EJeffries atherstone. He seems to get grumpy in a normal one.
