What has been your favourite ride on your horse?

I was thinking about this today and after giving it some thought I would have to say cantering across a stuble field feeling so free and happy

What about everyone else? If you could pin point your favourite ever ride on a horse what would it be?

The one that sticks in my mind is galloping along the side of the Seven Mile Plantation at Badminton on my old mare, with my sister, in the fog!!

Too many to mention, so many wonderful memories.

However, with my grey horse - the feeling of galloping him up the mountain. Took my breath away every time. It was an honour and a privilege to ride something so magnificent.

Beach gallop on a riding holiday in Spain, unforgettable!

For me it would be when we got lost in Sutton Forest and it began to snow and get dark, very worrying but the little mare got us home safe Was very pretty but eerie at the same time

Taking my old pony to the beach with 20 other horses from my yard and just letting them all go...awesome!

With my little ex racer it was the last time I rode him before I discovered his back problems and retired him. It was so "unspecial" a regular pootle round a small circuit route of houses BUT the special thing for me was he was listening too me and behaving beautifully even though he was leading a group of 3 unknown mares (major riggy issues) and he led them past roadworks which he was nervous of himself.
Sounds very insignificant but I swear after 5 years of hell with that horse I was absolutely thrilled to bits and so proud of him in a way its sad that was our last hack but in another it was a good one to end on I guess.
