Horsey wise? As this is the NL.
My sister Rode G, he went well in the ménage, then for some strange reason she wanted to take him in the field. He is never the calmest hack, and she is very nervous. She walked a few strides, came back to the yard and changed him from a snaffle to kimblewick
. She took him back and by this time I was driving Pip. She walked a few more strides before i told her/she was sufficiently scared to give up. All a nervous horse needs is to get stronger nervous signals from a nervous rider
. As she left had just finished warming up, a large group hacked past and Pip went stupid. He didnt do anything, just bouncing
. Took him to the ménage as he was plotting a freak out. Its really tough on them in there
, so he was perfect. Did some work on the collection in our next dressage test, which was good for him. He wasn't really extending, but the surface is so deep. Then helped Dad with his 4-in-hand running through his dressage. They did sine good work, the leaders starting to actually extend when needed. Mangaged to improve abit of accuracy too
Erm...got up at 10 ish...went to Walmart and then read books about Nationalism ...was meant to go see the loan horse, but decided I could do it in the morning, as have to do a presentation for my MA on Monday.
So, not very interesting. But I have wine (and beer) now. Yay. Its almost midnight, so I better go to sleep.
