Just been reading a book by Jane Savoie and realised it was only because of the forum that I bought it. I think it's great and persuaded a friend to buy it too.

So what have you bought purely by reading the Forum.

From the top of my head I've bought
"that winning feeling" by Jane Savoie
HyPerformance jodhpurs - very cosy
Some lightweight jodhpurs that I can't remember the name of

Now considering a Prolite girth and didn't even realise I wanted another girth!

loads and loads from the regatta clearance website, when I can be bothered to wait for it! its always very slow!

the hoof supplement that my horse is on (pro earth, pro hoof)

A horse :D

In all seriousness!

After being raised with horses, becoming qualified and owning and working with horses, I had a break. This forum formed part of my returning research. It gave me the confidence to realise I hadn't forgotten it all and the understanding that coming back to horses was a realistic hope.

So, thanks (at least in part) to this forum, I bought a horse :)

Yep this,.didn't even know it existed. Have quite a few warm jumpers because if it :)

Also Andrea Hicks saddles, my saddle fitter is going to contact sbloom on here about my elephant and I wouldn't have know who or what she does without her lovely and very detailed posts.
I hope she can help, mine and my parents bank balance will be sobbing in a corner though!

A horse, directly through the forum in response to a thread, apart from Toby the only other purchase was a Micklem bridle, otherwise I have far too much stuff and should be getting rid not collecting more.

Oh I need another waterproof jacket. Off to have a look!
Bit cheaper than a horse though!

Me too! Thanks from Dave & me for the inspiration & the experiences & the stories of success, positivity & support.

I don't know whether to love or hate you all for the part you played in influencing me to go and see him! He is nothing like what id imagined, so much more complex and exhausting, life with him is never simple, but I think I'm a much better person for having him.

I can't believe he's 14.1 I always thought he was a lot smaller for some reason! Daisy is 14.2 but I reckon she would tower over him she's his polar opposite lol.

Ooh loads of stuff; a Micklem bridle, a grab strap for my saddle, red horse hoof stuff, Copra meal, Simple Systems feeds.. all of which I have been pleased with!

He's 14-14.1 on tip toes but he's a dainty dinky 14.1. I can nearly touch my fingers around his cannon bones! I think he'd look really dinky next to daisy! My post about should I go to look at him was my first ever post on the forum.

What size of rug/bridle does he wear? D is a 6ft3 and even then it has to be a roomy shoulder model and a fs bridle and xf browband preferably!. She's bigger all over than my 15.2 except the length of her legs lol.

And you've done just about everything you intended to do haven't you, and lots more beside. :)

He's in a 5'9 rug but I have to shorten the belly straps on everything as even at their tightest they are always massively loose on him. Although weirdly I've only found 2 makes of rug where the neck doesn't strangle him. He wears a pony bridle and pony/small boots. He has done a fair bit I guess, given what a challenge he's been. And when his brain is on your side he is the most responsive, polite, happy, pleasurable horse I have ever ridden, so I can't have done too bad a job!

Paracetamol.

A tin hat and a stab vest lol

These made me lol !

A few things:

Biggest one was a horse, which I got through this forum
Fab grass livery and a series of amusing updates on said horse's antics, c/o Auslander

And some random others like: Micronised linseed, equi ami, fairfax girth, matchy matchy gear that I still haven't used, xc colours. Almost upgraded my horsebox in response to some experiences on here, but that's a bit more expensive !

Using Turmeric for my old horses lameness - it works!
And the use of nappies for poultices. I had never bought them before reading about it on this forum.
