I used to head on there every so often, but haven't been for a while. I've just been back to find that suddenly, the writer is equating wearing a 'helmet' to being a terrified horse-ruining moron Because that's the only reason anyone wears a hard hat... what an idiot.

The writer changed didn't they? Don't think I'll bother going back!

I love that blog and was a bit gutted when it changed but I do read the new writers other blog and have done for a while and really enjoy that, Im just not sure shes suited to the style of the fugly blog. Will carry on reading though.

That was a bit of a shock! I used to read VERY regularly when Cathy had the blog but I don't feel it has the same vibe anymore. Such a shame as it was great reading!

Yes, this is true. I think the 'message' or point she was trying to make got lost in there somewhere with the story of the hatless old chap who fell off his 3yo after getting a bit pissed on a long hack...
