This morning I woke up to my alarm at 7 am, turned it of and rolled over for a snooze, at 8 am I heard this hustle and bustle next to me and oh was frantically running around as he was now an hr late for work :D then I got to
Yard, fed Ben and after he had had breakfast he tried to nip me in a none to friendly way... I told him that was ok as the vet is on his way to stick his hand in his mouth and rip his teeth out, then he's going off to boarding school... Not sure he understood me but it made me feel better :D

To some, this may look like a horse eating his breakfast in a field! To Alf, this is a breakthrough!! He went back out in the summer grazing yesterday after I had to bring him in to prevent him from hurting himself. Last time he was out there, he spent an entire day galloping up and down the hedge, threatening to jump the gate and generally being an idiot, because he fell in love with a mare in the next field. Every time she moved away frm the gate, he flipped his lid.
Puthim out yesterday, with an electric fence set abotu 20ft in from the hedge, and although he stared longingly at her, he was calm enough to leave, and this morning, he was still perfectly relaxed. Keeping fingers and toes crossed!

Two of my dogs behaving like muppets just because they are allowed upstairs while I work. One is just running up and down them for the sheer hell of it! (should add disclaimer that stairs are very shallow with a landing in the middle and he can take the four steps on each section in one bound fairly much, but still funny to watch as like a child he makes the most of it).

Not a lot can smell cat sh!!t but cant find the bloody thing  so have chucked the offending moggy out and am enjoying a morning without her being pathetic and unable to leave my side for fear of monsters!

Paranoid by Black Sabbath on Radio Two Chris Evans show, full blast down the motorway - rocking at an old age my friends !!

My horse allowing me to give him a scratch while loose in the field this morning, a month or two ago he would have tried to bite my head off.

Well it started off with with a face of determination, slight annoyance and also a bit of fear. I took my colt out for a walk in hand as we have had about 3 weeks off due to my illnesses he had forgotten most lessons learnt we had bronking, rearing and boating but I hung on. We then met a huge puddle which we found hugely scary and lept over landing on my ankle... all is well though a face of slight pain anyhoo big grin on returning home after a few short lessons on what mother owner does not like and what is acceptable and we walk back on a loose rope and manage some really nice trot in hand.... big, big grins for the massive full of testosterone colt. I'm now exhausted for the rest of the day! :)

deffinatly not the speeding ticket that landed on the door mat only 5 days after the previous one! KILLY ME NOW. i can take drivers awareness for one but will have to stick with 3points for the other and my insurance is due next month :'( but the thing cheering me up is the holiday to canada in 8 days :D 3weeks away from here - if i stay over there will i get a new lisence? ;)
