As it was the last day of 2011 i thought id take the pony to the beach :D So whole family piled into the cars and took the dogs and off we went to the beach with the pony in the trailer.

Had a blast :D Pony loved it and family (who live in London) got to see me on the pony charging up and down, had a great day and now for fish and chips later :D
Happy days 2011- Hello 2012

Turned out 5 horses and mucked out one (this time next year I can have a ride because she will be old enough!). Then took the puppy for a nice walk with mum, met another puppy who was the same age (5 months) so they had a bit of a play. Mine ended up looking more mud monster than golden retriever though lol but it was nice to see her happy :) Spent most of the rest of the day doing homework though!!

Took a very fresh nappy horse out, returned it to stable and left.
SUN, what is that about
I am making up my resolutions
1] move horse
2] move me
3 ] move both
I am fed up with rain and mud
I am going to sell up and move south to places where the sun shines and there are jobs.

Your last day of 2011 sounds amazing, wish I'd planned something special!
I went to watch some dressage (not planned, but it was on so thought I might as well!), then took the horses out for a hack. Just got back & am having a cuppa and a shower before I go back out to get them ready for bed.
I'd like to go out somewhere tonight but no one else I know seems bothered so might be spending the rest of my evening on here!

Went to work 5am yawn yawn. Then went to B&Q to get a water butt and onto parents to get their wallpaper stripper to make a hay steamer (instructions courtesy of HHO's). Went home, had a power nap. Went and schooled ponio who was very good. Then made 3 polish and 2 Albanian fully grown men cry by taking my car to the hand car and saying yes when they asked if I wanted the inside cleaning as well ! I felt so guilty by the state of it I gave them a tip ! So as you see I lead an exciting all action life..........

I had a bumper day :D

Lunged my gelding for 30mins,
Gave my mare her inhand walk for 30 mins,
Gutted out my tackroom,
Fixed my Yard fencing,
Tidied up the yard,
Sorted the straw store,

Mid way through the above I walked a mile up a very steep hill to get my lunch then walked back down,

Thoroughly enjoyed myself today!!! Started 2012 the way i mean to go on ORGANISED :D

Didn't get to see my horse as sharer had him today :(

Had a nice walk to the end of the pier and back, which is about as far I can walk in my heavily pregnant state! Ate chips on the pier with my husband and then fell asleep in front of the fire! Woken by a hungry cat, now it's time to get ready to go out with friends.

Very jealous of all you guys who got to ride tho...

Got totally soaked with the constant rain!

Spent the afternoon elec fencing the winter turnout pen that is hardcore under the grass, as hubby's horse had an almost invisible filling in one leg today, which is a sure sign that he will get mudrash soon if left in the big wet field. Also spent all afternoon wishing we weren't going out, and that we could just light the fire and get warm! I'm a humbug!

Had a runner at the p2p and would have been better off staying in bed!

I was meant to go and watch the pointing at Cottenham today but ended up fixing fence that someone else's naughty little ponies had destroyed!

Hope horse is ok and just ran badly rather than anything more sinister.

Rode the prancing, snorting dragon, idiot horse for a hour, blew my nose, coughed a lot, moaned a lot! Laters 2011! If 2012 not an improvement then am giving it all up and taking up flower arranging or some other such indoor, cheap and non life threatening hobby! Am sulking off now to super glue a smile to my face and pretend I want to go out tonight.. :p
