I was meant to go and watch the pointing at Cottenham today but ended up fixing fence that someone else's naughty little ponies had destroyed!

Hope horse is ok and just ran badly rather than anything more sinister.

He's fine thanks. Just had a major strop that he didn't get the race his way!!!

Short hack on local roads (for safety's sake) in the pouring rain with sis (YuletideG). Both horses very good, both went first & last, although sister's horse did make it VERY clear that we could turn off and go home about halfway round.
It took us both back many years to winter hacks at RS, when the arena was too wet for a lesson. I'm sure the RI must have wished we'd stay at home occasionally!

Had a major clear out, sorted through all of the horses things and have a nice long list of things I am wanting to get rid of. Picked up a chest freezer to store my rugs in and re-organised my tack/feed room. Walked the dog with my OH and that has been about it.

Got to turn out my girl out for the first time since she had surgery, so nice to see her have a roll however had to have my old loan horse put to sleep at 4:00pm so a high and a low to end the year with.

got up late which was a treat, went to farm to check and feed horses, had coffee with farmer. waited about while friend removed the mud-gathering side steps from my 4x4 and then came home minus half tonne of mud:D.
Got stuck in spring cleaning the utility/dog room and washing all their stinky beds:rolleyes: watched Evel Knievel on the tv lol:eek::D then went back down farm to help hubby load some firewood and then unloaded it when he brought it home. Just had a huge chinese takeaway for tea and now too fat and full to do anything except chill with the kids in front the tv:cool:

Moved yards!! 2 horses, feed bins rugs tack ect, and a 3.5t horse box full of jumps!! :-( to say i'm kernackerd is an understatement!! but will all be worth it to have the horses safe and sound! and not having to worry that some total nutter is not walking past walloping them over their heads!! they are both now tucked up in there new dry stables, and the tack is in a dry!! tack room without it getting soaked every time it rains.. now contemplating whether to get dressed to go out to see the new year in with some good friends.. Happy New Year all...

Hacked the ignorant git of a pony that I have the joy of calling my own. We had a discussion about ignoring my leg so spent the rest of the way home doing some sort of lateral work. Then gave him a good groom and turned him back out again.
Now on my way to a party with some family and friends to bring in the new year. Hope you all have a good one :).

We have three horses mine, hubbies and 16 year old sons. Spent morning at the yard exercising, mucking out, poo picking and tack cleaning. Home for housework lunch. Then back up yard catch in and more exercising. Just how it should be. Love my time off work

Rode H for an hour this morning, then came home and did a bit of washing!! This afternoon cuddled up with new kitten who had an upset tummy! Not going out this evening as OH has dreadful cold, so everyone has to stay at home :(

Went for a walk with the woof, bought a numnah and likit holder (£4 for the lot :O)
