What have you done today ?

Got to the yard early, discovered boy was already out so went to catch the bu**er who took a while as it was nice in the field don't you know?!

Tacked up then another livery turned up so we ended up hacking together which was fab as I'm still new to the yard so got introduced to a new route including a trip through a stream - now realising that New Boy has not been introduced to water either, but was good and despite the 4 legged takeoff into the water survived the ordeal.

Back home with sweaty boy, quick wash off and put out naked cue lots of rolling, & mentioned to another livery that we'd gone naked hence another rugless companion - YM not happy as on her own in the pm and all liveries include basic grooming, oops :o

I spent a lazy morning at home with my fiance, then spent the afternoon at my mum's riding her new pony for the first time. She's had two and a half years off, is 16, and was certifiable last time I saw her ridden. Being out so long has changed her completely and she barely bothered about me being up there! Roll on next Sat when fitness training begins in earnest! A lovely day on which to start my spring :)

Dug out 3 deep litter beds and laid new fluffy ones, groomed 3, had day off from riding, steeped in bath, watched hubby repair my massage pad, it was squealing and freaking horses out, had tea and faffed about on hho, in bed now ready for zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's :D

Reading and puzzles in the morning :D, them went to BHS exam training - fitting of bridle, pelham, breastplate, martingles, saddle and how to remove a shoe :D, then went back home to make a cheeasecake for the family tomorrow that is visiting us :D

I went to try a horse with my friend :D (for her, not me) and he was excellent!! I think she's certainly going to purchase him!
Then we went out for Chinese (YUM) and then went to Horsatack and I bought Neddy a new rug!

Tried to get my car tyre fixed, and promptly failed! Spent ages grooming my beasts, one is moulting so I was giving her a helping hand! Then I.ve been tidying my garden and fixing my garden gate. Seems like a strange day!

bit of a mixed day really - its the first saturday in almost a decade where i have had no horse to be responsible for - RIP big Ruby,so - took DD to Nottingham, tried on 32 items in TK Maxx & bought nothing but did get a nice frame for baby Lilllys first comp pic from the oher week & then nottingham contemporary for a new exhibition, bought some very expensive face cream & we had pizza - quite honestly - i would have much preferred to have my Ruby back:(

I spent the morning nursing my bruises and swollen areas after falling off again last night (I've managed to have a sticky bum through all my years of riding and suddenly I've managed two falls in one week :( ). Then I had to arrange for someone to lead my little sister during her pony lesson - no chance I could run in this state, before coming back and meeting an old friend for coffee. Definitely not my normal Saturday.
