What have you tasted that was only meant for hosses?

Pony nuts, conditioning cubes, likkit (before the horse!) and ummm hoof oil :o

It was by accident! Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought!

i've had the odd mouthful of flyspray or tail spary if the wind is in the wrong direction - despite both smelling lovely neither tastes good!

Have so far resisted the urge to try the delicious smelling aniseed horselyx....

Lickits, herbal treats, speedibeet, fast fibre, linseed, molasses, mist things he's been fed over the years really! Norodine granuals by accident once. That was not nice.

Mint likit... Yum! The molasses part on uncle jimmies lick not too bad. Missieh... Yes they do! My mare has them and they're not bad either ;) agree electrolytes are vile... As well as speedybeet. Chaff and pony nuts... Not sure!
Man I was a weird kid! ;)

Ps the mad TB I laughed so much when you said hoof oil... WHY?! ;) :D

Haha I try pretty much everything... I am curious by nature :-) micronised linseed is surprisingly pleasant, mineral lick bleurgh!

I used to eat soy beans (locust beans?)A lot but don't think people feed those any more!

Likits, yum esp the butrerscotch, mint, raspberry and very berry.

Sugar beet, yuck

Chaff, not pleasent.

Nuts, not bad

Maize, like cornflakes

Baileys. Tasted quite nice like bread crumbs.

Have also inadvertently got a mouthful of windfall powder when some of puffed up when putting it in feedbowl. Yuck!

I also tasted a little dab of Bute and antibiotics when I was putting it in a horse's feed, my OH was like what the HELL? I just wanted to see how bitter they tasted to see what I needed to mix in and hide it :-/

Beet/oats/cubes/maize...

Inadvertently got a gobfull of 'bute when trying to rip open sachets. Since then I haven't had a single cold, and I used to get them every 3-4 weeks lol
Nice coincidence ;)

Meadow mix
Oats
Pony nuts
Grass nuts
Alfa-A
Comp mix
Molasses
Garlic
(in fact most horse feeds, the mixes are quite nice, as are oats)
Likits
Horse mints
Horse treats
Salt licks, including flavoured ones.
Bute
Finadyne
Sedalin
(last two accidentally)
Cornucresine
All I can say is when something smells or looks appetising, I am compelled to try it. Used to always try eating soap when I was little too.

I got a flipping mouthful of cribstop spray!! :( ergh! YO was spraying a rug on her horse to stop field mate ripping it! Tasted it for days after!

I love likits! Iv tried.

The apple chaff they used to make (no idea if they still do).. Awful never the less.
Speedibeet - awful!
Various sprays by accident! Yuk.
Salt lick! Nasty thing!
Pony nuts.
And those stud muffins? they used to smell Devine but its honestly was the worst thing ever!

Baileys no1, it's surprisingly nice!

Once drank my chickens garlic and iron tonic flavoured water in the car mistaking it for lucozade which was similar colour and same bottle - can only imagine chickens can't taste anything

A lot of bad stuff!
Wormer - trying to remove a stuck cap with teeth
Sedaline - same as above
Bute - ripping open sachet with teeth
Most feeds at one time or another
Hoof oil
And have inadvertently wiped poo into my mouth once! Vile!

Almost everything I give him, including mag ox (no taste to me, although he hates it!) bioplex copper (disgusting, don't do it!) zinc, same as copper, plus all feedstuffs.

When I was little I licked a salt lick - tasted a lot like marzipan - and then pretended to turn into a horse and canter and buck round the field :o :D

I've also tried the likits stuffed full of sugar - YUM! - and Fast Fibre.

LOL - a million years ago my friends and I used to be left up the stables as kids to fend for ourselves. We always ate our lunch too early and regularly used to tuck into the horses' feed and carrotts!

Maize is quite nice but those green peas are vile. The mix also used to have these sweet black beans in them which were yum!

There's lick that comes in blue tub which is really very nice but I always end up with it on the end of my nose from sticking my head in the tib and licking it. It doesn't belong to my horse so I don't know what it's called.
