I have a little Energiser one that I've had for years and am thinking of buying another with more LEDs... any suggestions of good ones and are Petzl ones worth the extra cost?

I've got a cheap aldi £3.99 one which does the job, but I do have a square imprint on my forehead which looks suspiciously like the back of the head torch, because I forgot I was wearing it and looked up at the horse!

Depends what u want it for? We have a 'yard' headlamp, useful for a multitude of things but it is so powerful,we can use it in the fields for poopicking in the pitch dark! It is visible from a quarter of a mile away, big beam of light-looks like a light sabre in the distance! It even has additional infrared lights for in the dark! It was expensive (£35,Decathalon) but is heavy duty, extremely bright & longlasting.

There are a few hazards to look out for when wearing one.
For example, one of my horses thought it was the height of entertainment to grab the light part, pull it forward and ping it back onto your forehead. :D
S :D

I have one that clips on to a cap, which is good for winter because I can have it on my really warm wooly hat :) Very bright, I'll have a look for the make tomorrow as its out in my car and as I'm nice and toasty in front of the fire I don't fancy going out to check right now :p
