What height do you think he will be?

My youngster is 2yrs old on friday and currently stands at 14.3hh. He looks quite immature for his age but is rapidly filling out on the spring grass.

His Sire is AImbry chester (pb WB - sports pony) standing at 15.1hh and his dam was 16.3hh eventer (Mw hunter type)

any suggestions as to what he will mature im hoping for 15.2 - 16hh ish. im only 5'2 so really dosnt make that much difference to me.
But im curious!

He won't go up much more I don't think - another couple of inches or so.

Hmm thats a hard one as his parents are quite different in both size and build.
I would guess around 15.3hh but it really could be anywhere between his parents heights!

in my experience i shouldnt imagine he would exceed 15.2hh i've got a 3 year old who was 14.3hh at 9 months old and is now 17.1hh so i dont think there is any danger he'll out grow you!

Friend bred from her 16hh TB mare with Aimbry Chester and produced a 15.1 (she is now 5 years old). Might grow a little bit more. Beautiful mare!
