what height horse is for me?

im not buying a horse but i was just wondering what height would be ok. im thinking anything from 14.0hh - 15.Ohh

i am 14 years old and weigh bout 8stone :/
and im bout 5'6. :P

just a random question cos im bored lol :)
 
im 5,6 and have a 16hh i do weigh alt more then you but just thinking hight wise 16hh would give u more room to move lol . i have ridden a 14.2 recently and felt very bit on it
 
I'm 5ft8 previously worked at a riding school and dealer yard, i just got on anything i was told to from about 13.2 - 18hh i was a lot lighter then though :) i'd say 14 -15h perfect for you
 
I was about 5ft 6 at 13 and about your weight and got a 15.3hh allrounder who lasted me for years (he's still with me though retired as he's 31). I had a 14.1hh before that, from about 11 years old. I'm now much older and have settled in height at about 5ft 8 and 9 1/2 stone and have a 16.1 though have ridden many sizes up to about 17.2hh.

So I would say 14.2 upwards personally depending on what you feel comfy with etc. Sometimes the right horse is more important than the size (assuming the rider is not too heavy or tall for the horse). So if you were looking (which you say you aren't anyway) I would be more concerned with what you wanted from a horse in terms of temperament, work etc rather than what was the exactly right size.
