What hoover do you have and is it any good?...

Miele cylinder cleaner with the turbo brush, they do a cat and dog one. My mum has had dyson and miele and preferred miele. I have only had a miele and it is great for dog hair.

I have a Dyson and it's great. It is however my second Dyson and the first was problem after problem that they could never fix. In the end once the guarantee was over we binned it.

I have 2 dysons the new DC50 animal which TBH is rubbish with the dog fur but I have just got a reconditioned DC04 which is brilliant. I recommend you try and borrow a few and try them out

Dyson, but it doesn't pick up and the filter needs regular cleaning. I'm the world's worst housewife, but I went mad with rubber gloves and hand cleaned the stairs yesterday, got tons of hair up. My lot shed like crazy. Get a non shedder!

Never tried a Dyson. Didn't rate the Miele. I now have a vax upright dog and cat. It's brilliant. Lightweight easy to store like a mini dyson. It's bag less with tools love it.

I have a sebo as recommended by hoover repair man. I think it would do the job better if I plugged it in and pushed it about a bit.

I think I have tried them all over the years and my verdict is that you can t beat a henry, having said that ive just got a GTECH air ram to save me carting the henry around and that's surprisingly good..and its cordless.

Is that where I am going wrong? Love it!
We have a Henry now, he is OK as long as he hasn't got indigestion, with a new bag he does a great job. House keeping is not exactly my forte...

Vax Air Reach upright - fab at picking up dog hair and cat fluff and a fraction of the price of a dyson/Miele.

I have the dyson dc59 animal. It's a cordless handheld and is fab. I hoover everyday now it takes seconds to do a carpet. I do have a big dyson as well but it rarely comes out now I've got this one.
