dream of having when you were younger or before you got your first horse?

I always dreamt of having a Palomino or Chestnut Welsh D about 15hh............something went terribly wrong and my legs grew too long and I ended up with a bay full TB and a palomino PBA

I remember when i first started riding i wanted a black stallion. I didn't actually realise that stallions were infact male horses, i just thought all black horses were called black stallions lol.

Now i'm older i want a dark liver chestnut mare with a blaze and 4 white stockings

I had a chestnut pony with a white blaze when younger and always wanted a horse of the same colour. I did though want them to be an arab as I usually get on well with arabs but having an OH who is 6ft2 put paid to that idea and I ended up with an Irish Sports horse.

I always wanted a smart palomino show pony...... my mum surprised me with a short, fat, hairy, cobby, Dun.... I burst into tears,...................... but he turned out to be the best pony in the world!!

I spent my childhood in a garden shed grooming an imaginary Section A, jet black called Jenny.
I ended up with ponies in the riding school when I grew up but always grey ones.
I did end up with a horse called Jenny however, one of our brood mares! (chesnut 15. 2 hh)
I can still see that little black pony in my mind, small head, tiny ears, lustrous dark eyes and a broad back just right for a little girl to sit on..
I was 15 before I got my first pony..

I read a book about the Godolphin Arabian when I was about 7 or 8 and from then on my dream was to have a beautiful fiery chestnut Arab stallion...

...and now I have one - here is my boy Tobago:

I didn't actually want any, but then my Mother discovered Exeter market and Bampton Sales, so I didn't really have any say in the matter. I think the only colour we didn't have in the paddocks at one time or another was a coloured one.

I always imagined and wanted a blue roan pony called Dudley when i was little. In reality i got a big strapping bay hunter called Barnaby but he was perfect alll the same!!

First Pony A palomino called Trigger hehehehehehehe
Had to have him

Stopped riding for years and when I went back I wanted a lovely elegant TB but ended up with my cob, Now I will always have and love cobs.

I just wnated a /ponyhorse when i was small! And when we went looking for a horse, I came home with something i didn't really want. But i knew it was rght! People couldn't understand why i had bought him, considering i didn't actually like his arabs/trotters, have always had something against chestnuts and would have preferred a mare

But i love him to bits and he's going nowhere!
