She is absolutely perfect, I'm so lucky to have such an honest horse, she is one of the only horses that will never refuse.
I once went to a show and got my line completely wrong for the double, it was such a bad line, she couldn't jump it, so rather then refuse which would have made me go over her shoulder, she crashed through both parts of the double. She's so careful to look after me

Hi!

I'm 26 and 5'7". I've ridden for 23 years.

My main horse at the moment is Jazz - 17hh Han x dutch warmblood, 12 years old. Has been ridden badly in the past and I'm trying to reschool him. He's a lovely horse, but still green. His one and only party was the fun ride I did last month. He was a star - roll on the next one!

I also own Mouse - 13hh Eriskay gelding. I don't do much with him anymore - he's a 16 year old field ornament, but I've had him since he was 6 months and can't bear to part with him. He's not easy though so even if I sold him he'd either hurt someone or end up at Potters so he's fine in the field!

My other horse (who's out on loan to a friend) is Blackjack, a 15.2hh TB x Welsh ex-BSJA. He taught me how to ride horses as he has a very long stride. Great fun. He's 26 now (as well as me!) but still acts like a 6 year old - I get frequent updates from his mummy as to how on his toes he still is!

My sister has Squirrel (who's out on loan to a girl at the yard), a 16.2hh ID x TB x Arab ex-eventer. He taught Jenny everything she needed to know about riding. They won pretty much every working hunter class they ever entered. He's 23 now and is taken life a bit easier - diagnosed with a slight heart murmur at his last check-up.

Mother also has a pure Trakenher (cousin of Downland Cancara (Lloyds Bank horse)) called Woody. He's 17.2hh and looks identical to Squizz - the twins as they are called! He's retired as he has navicular, arthritis, laminitis, and COPD. Spoilt old boy. He's now 21 years old. He had evented and hunted before mother bought him. He was in a bad way when she bought him and paid full asking price (overpriced) as she wanted to get him out of that home!

All my/our boys are in my siggie. I love them all to bits, but only really see Jazz now.

As of next week I will own a 13yr old 17.1hh RID gelding called Hugo, he is chestnut with 3 white socks and a lovely white stripe down his nose. He is an ex-master's horse and will be taking me out for my first hunt season this year, otherwise is great to hack and we will be doing the odd hunter trial next year! I'm so proud of him and he's not even home yet! So excited!!!

i own a welsh section a 8 yr old who is toitaly useless but he is my boy. he was bottle fed and has attitude with a captial A will do lead rein until he gets bored then with ditch child won't go forward with rider not lead rein so he is a field compain.

Hi I'm 27 and have ridden and owned horses since I was a tot. I currently own a big grey goat (17hh+ 4yr old danish wb x id) who I bought as a cheap unbacked project last year as I "fancied a challenge". Sadly to date he has only "challenged" the farrier, the vets and my bank balance with his unidentified lameness

Vardi a 4.5 year old Dutch Warmblood x Appaloosa he is 16.2 and still growing! He has also changed completly in looks since I bought him.

Weeellll.. I have Stormy, my adoprable (and very big) black shetland - he's 16, and recently gone out on loan to give a little girl some confidence - and then qualified for the royal at Peterborough! Not going tho' as a bit too far for them to travel him!
Hiraeth (otherwise known as Pedito) my 15.2 or 16hh depending on who measures him v. dark dapple bay 10YO who I've owned since approx 7 months old, after finding him just after someone weaned him off his dam with a crowbar and some barbed wire which has left alot of mental scars and a fair amount of attitude :-( He's Friesian x Shire, done bugger all since being broken, just moved to a new yard and starting again - hacks out etc - he's a good boy in traffic, but can't walk a straight line if his life depended on it!! Only just noticed what gorgeously straight action he has, would love to 'do' something with him in the future, but not rushing anything! Just loving seeing him getting his act together and leaning to follow my lead again, and enjoying his work!

I have .......

Higgy - Section D stallion, the sweetest chap you could wish for.

Amber - Ex race mare who was doing really well as a potential eventer but unfortunatly has had a couple of wobbly episodes so is now a mum to be.

Dot - WBx Big coloured girl who is also out of action at the moment and is expecting next year.

Ralf - TB 2 yo, freebie from where I work, a real sweet heart, not sure what I will do with him yet.

Nutmeg - Mad, ancient ponio, who I have on loan from a local rescue centre she is companion to whomever is in need.

Yarrita - Most awful name in the world, not given by me ! TB broodmare and she has an Ugly Betty at foot !

Adaptable - Another TB broodmare with a Megan at foot.

Penelope and Matilda - Yearlings from the above mares.

Oatis and Sammy - TB broodmare with the Sammy foal at foot, 1/2 bro to my beloved Freddie.

and last but not least !

Freddie - WPBR gelding, yearling who is the most amazing chap, an absolute dream to be around and the chap in my signature.

Hot Choccy and biscuits if you made it through the list !!
