I use it when teaching people who are inclined towards a "chair" seat. It helps to stop the leg creeping forward.

I would love if there was some sort of virtual reality riding simulator where you could go round Badminton etc on a mechanical horse - you know like those Turbo Tours rollercoaster simulator things? Except with a mechanical horse and video screens/goggles with video of the course. Maybe such a thing does exist and I've never heard of it! In my mind, it wouldn't be for training as much as simply an experience for those of us unlikely to ever jump more than 3' (there would be a big padded area around it, in case of being jumped off ,of course!!
