Thank you all in advance! xx

I'm using E & L at mo. They're quite a bit cheaper than most.
Only one complaint: they're slow to pay out. Its not that they don't, but we had to wait quite a while before our vet recieved the money.

Ive been reccomended one insurance company before but I cant remember what is was lol. Because I got told that apantly some insurance companys like you to pay the vets bill and then they will pay it back or something like that .. a bit confusing! lol xx

amtrust for my youngster and petplan for my oldie (though why i bother is beyond me, his exclusion list is a a4 page and he hasn't even got half the conditions)

We've had good results with KBIS. Bit cheeky in that they added more exclusions on when I sent my mare's loan contract off (headshaking, which I have never claimed for!!!!) but they have always been quick to pay up and good with my non horsey mother on the phone.

I have mine insured with pet plan, i was with E & L but have heard alot of people say bad things about them, they try to get out of paying, if they do pay up it takes a while.

all mine are with the NFU and have been for years. They are fantastic with queries, legal help and claims. I had to claim vets fees and LOU in one year for one of my mares and my mum claimed loss of animal on hers, they were fantastic throughout the whole awful time. Also when my car was stolen they helped no end with the items that were in the car at the time of the theft.
They may not be the cheapest compared to others (eg E&L) but they are worth it imo

Petplan as well. Not claimed for my horse but did put a claim in for my dog who is also insured with them and they were brilliant, quick to pay, really helpful and friendly

y dont u give them a call as u could possiably remove the exclutions?

xx

seib for me.

They too pay the vet direct and I have found a dam site easier and faster than that insurance company mentioned above that begins with E. My exoperiance with them was having to fight for a year for a payout for a death in the field during a thunder storm ( broken neck ), I would not touch with a barge pole ever again!
