For showing purposes, what is a hack and what turn out is needed for horse and rider, there is a link on the schedule but it's not working

I see it as something finer than a hunter, has to be a bit flashy or special, well turned out, perfectly turned out, no blemishes or obvious faults. Good manners.

If you took a photo with nothing in the background at all, then a hack will look like a show pony and vice versa

http://www.theshowring.info/Hacks.htm The lightest, flashiest show horses under 16hh(?) Lighter than riding horses as well as obviously hunters. I don't think they gallop, but they do rein back, and in championships are often ridden one handed. Ladies in Navy, men in tweed. In championships men in tailcoat suits.

Small hacks not to exceed 15.1 and large not to exceed 15.3 (to be more accurate 154cm and 160cm respectively. Elegance is all with hacks.
