Looking at houses for sale and one offers '2 natural horsemanship stables and 3 acres...'

So what does that mean?

Are they made out of something different? Do they have NH gadgets attached???

The ones I have seen look more open like a field shelter. Stables divided by strong wooden battens rather than a solid wall so that horses can interact with each other. This also gives the option of opening the 2 stables up into one huge one. (Battens were slotted in and height easily adjustable). The front could be left open with a small "corralled" area outside so the horse could go inside or out, or a gate/wooden batten across the very wide opening if the horse needed to be kept in. The doorway was wider than a stable but not totally open like a field shelter.
No NH "gadgets" involved...it's just a bigger, more open stable.

:D Who knows, go and have a look :) It seems an odd selling point to mention.

Actually if they have pens attached that would be useful. Anything else, as long as the structure is good what does it matter? You can always adapt them - put up more siding, add traditional doors etc if that is your preference.

If the sellers are into NH that may a bonus because you would expect everything to be extremely horse friendly.

You can always chuck away the metaphorical carrot sticks and rope halters if you don't want them :D

I've found the website of the yard where I have seen NH Stables.
I'll PM you link to the site though, as it could be seen as advertising :).

You're welcome. :D
I've actually been inside those stables in the link I sent. My friend went there on work experience a couple of years ago. They are VERY big, open, bright and airy. They can be closed off/opened up as required, and an outside corral made to extend the boxes to an indoor/outdoor option for the horse.
