Joe and i are off to have another go at dressage!
Should be interesting as last week, at a training show, it took 4 attempts to get left canter!!
Taboo is bringing her new boy so will get to meet them both!
Five of us are off to Carmarthen on Sunday to do unaf dressage. The weather warning for Sunday is 80mph gusts and heavy rain. Will make executive decision in morning, plus poorly horse permitting.
I'm doing unaff prelim dressage on Sat, and then off unaff SJ (just 2ft 6) on Sun.
Really looking forward to both of them! Only my second ever dressage test, have plaited up this evening and he looks so smart- felt really proud of him lol!
An hour with the trainer on Saturday & some unaffiliated jumping on Sunday at Highcross....... that's if the rain kleeps off, the course in outdoor.
Was thinking about doing some BSJA tomorrow but has been knocked on the head as horse twisted his shoe over night and despite me pulling it off today he is footsore. Hoping farrier will come ASAP!
Hockey injury! Broke a bone in my wrist, but i did it a few weeks ago and only just decided to go to the hospital so only just found out why it hurts sooo much! x
Wellspent the day travelling the length of the country, delivering one horsey to her new mummy and then picking up my new baby! And as Ash has said, I will be taking the new boy to do a few ballet classes to see how we get on! (Well it'll be the third time I've ridden him!!!) However if he has not settled in the morning, we wont be bringing him and I'll take my quieter chestnut!!! OD decided that it was great fun to drag new mother up driveway after unloading and pretend to be a stallion!!! Said mother has decided that should be be on his toes like that tomorrow, maybe its not such a good idea!
