What is everyone's problem with teenage horse owners?

Most of the horses at Mollie's yard are owned and cared for by teenagers (with some parental involvement).

I can honestly say I have great respect for those teenagers. They are all very knowledgable for their years and at an age where they are soaking up new information like sponges. :) They're for the most part very responsible too.

I'm not aware of anyone on our yard having a problem with teenage horse owners.

Okay, there's the odd bit of youthful arrogance which shows itself occasionally, and sometimes they don't think of consequences (eg letting the hosepipe run onto the yard when a freeze is forecast ) but those things aren't exclusive to youngsters!

On the whole, they're fun, enthusiastic, hard-working and extremely helpful to an oldie like myself who sometimes struggles. :o
