What are judges looking for when judging the confirmation section of a WH class?

Is the animal expected to be completely clean limed even though they are jumping?

I have never done WH before so rather out of my depth haha!

Usually the judge is looking for a flowing jumping style, rather than 'show jumping', and the jumping phase carries 50% of the marks. The show phase carries the other 50%, if the judge rides they are looking for a comfortable, mannerly horse which feels as though it could take you for a day's hunting. A few lumps and bumps are acceptable but any unsoundness is not. If the rider gives the show, rather than the judge riding, the criteria will be the same but from the different perspective. A really good gallop which comes back to hand readily will often sway the judge's opinion if two horses are very similar.

ETA, BSPS classes break the marks down into conformation and manners and most adult classes follow the same format.

Brilliant, thank you for the reply.

My new horse has a splint on his front leg, is this something that will go against us? I know it would in a flat class depending on judge but I have never done WH in all my 20+ years of county showing.
