who wrote to us this morning confirming they are paying the vet bill

The claim says its for "Capsulitis" i didnt want to bother the vet with a numpty question about what he put on the claim form so any ideas?

"itis" is an inflammation of a particular area, so I would guess that capsulitis would be inflammation of a joint capsule. Does that fit with your understanding of the vet's diagnosis?

Digger dog is correct - Capsulitis is a broad term for inflammation of a joint be it horse, human, dog etc

Thanks guys- he is being treated for coffin joint arthritis so that would tie in nicely

Yes, part of the arthritic process is capsulitis. Inflammation of the joint capsule.
