Evening all

My mare is half TB x with Hanoverian and New Forest. A lovely lady I met today said she could see the new forest in her. Now, can someone tell me what is NF about her what is Hanoverian and what is TB please? Really interested in this but not super good at different breeds...yet!

Thank you

It is hard of photos unless they are very true to type. She looks more nf than anything else to me stripped tacked up and ridden. In her confirmation and way of going.

Sorry not very helpfull tired she does not look over 14.2 so therefore pony looking.she has the bone and limbs and and length of stride of a pony it would appear from photos.Although a pretty pony you can tell not a pure bred but has a look of a new forest more than anything. in the head nf crossed with something else say the tb.The limbs are quiet straight say the hanaverian x nf .The colour may be that of the nf and hanaverian. But because of the pony aspects people pick up on the nf.she looks very well mannered and would seem to make a good all rounder. All this is a quess of course from photos and no info height etc .Everyone will have there own opion as to what they see.who cares any way its what you see and know about her that matters assumeing its a her. Have fun x

I'd say the head too - my pony is a native/cob cross and a lot of people can see the NF in him based on his head. Your mare is beautiful btw :)

Ah brilliant this is starting to make a lot of sense thank you - what about her TB and hano 'parts'? Someone said her bum is hano and just looked on google and it said "They have powerful hindquarters"
Not sure why I'm interested in which parts are which and what these parts mean but I am

Google Farriers Fingerprint, thought of him straight away when I looked at your photos. She's lovely, can't beat a good pony brain in any size body ;-)

Cross breeds aren't put together in parts, every bit of her will be a mixture of the 3 breeds she has. She does have a pony head if you're looking for the pony in her, but you can also see the tb and hanoverian in her if you're looking for it. She looks like a nice horse, and that's all you want.
