Well we were told our pup was a border collie x alasation. But right now we are unsure, my mum who also has had dogs says she reckons she's a jack russell, somewhere in there ... What do you think?

I'd say BC x GSD looks about right, I can't see anything there resembling JRT

Gorgeous pup! Agree cant see a lick of JRT in there, collie x shep looks more likely but you never know whats lurking

Thanks guys! She is beautiful bless her, but a right little terror ... We're just thinking what she is really, she's 4 and 1/2 months and apparently too small for her breeding, but whether she was the runt of the litter maybe?

Don't forget that pups of mixed breeds can take after one parent size wise, if mum was a small collie then that could explain her size. Or as you say she could just have been poorly reared.

I'd say there is definately a bit of Beagle in there!

Agree with MM, and in a crossbreed, unless you were there at the mating it is sometimes impossible to say, although I don't see any JRT (or Beagle ).
And don't forget, GSDs are supposed to be a medium to large breed, not a giant one

I don't see jrt (or beagle), definately BC and she's about the right size for a BC of that age, I can also see GSD. My neighbour had a GSD x BC and he was just like a small GSD with a white bib, but you can never know with crosses and she looks very BC to me and the terror bit sound BC too!
