I'm watching Badders on the Red Button at the mo and have noticed that quite a few horses have a white pad on their nose, not a sheepskin, it almost looks like a plaster - what is it?

Camilla Speirs' horse has one on now! As does Karen O'Connor's!

Yeah, they're nasal strips. Just like anti snoring ones! Funny aren't they?

yeah think they are called air strips and i am pretty sure they help aany difficulty in breathing... lots use them as have been proved to reduce 'turbulence' when breathing...

Erm.... if breathing restricted why not just remove the flash and not have the noseband so tight???
