Hello, i have an 13yr old ex-race horse that have owned for 6yrs now and love him to bits. 3 yrs ago he had a splint on his front right leg after a kick in the field. I always wore Eskadron tendon boots on him but after that splint i changed to the Eskadron x-country boots as i thought they would give that little bit more protection. He now as another splint on his left leg after what we think was when he kicked himself rolling about in his new bed of shavings in the stable.

, i also found out through the X-rays that he has the first signs of arthritis. Any way he is now into his 3rd week of stable rest and i was wondering if any one new what would be the best boots i could put on him for that all round protection be fore i put him back into work again. I was thinking on getting SMB Elite but i have not heard alot about them. All replys welcome

I'd exersize bandage every time, it offers the best support and , although it might not be 'cool', (my horse broke her splint bone a few years back, but is still eventing), boots offer little stability, where as if you put on exersize bandages (properly, with gamgee), they offer the best support by far.
