Please can you help me I have never had to buy a grazing muzzle before and I want to know which one is the best, I have seen the Green Guard muzzle which I like the design of but has anyone else used it is it any good?

I've just been researching this on here, as I've never used one before either. If you use the search button above and put in "grazing muzzle" lots of posts come up. From what I made out, the Greenguard are not popular, and a lot of peeps swear by the Shires comfort sort webbing grazing muzzle (easy to get on ebay, £12.00 or so) so that's what I'm trying.

Hope that helps, and let's see what happens  sm x

I like the New design greenguard grazing muzzle with the greenguard halter, it stays on. The old design my mare pushed to the side.

Both myself and a friend of mine have tried the (expensive!) Greenguard muzzles but don't rate them. One pony pulled it off and my delightful little girl just pulled it round to one side of her mouth and carried on - causing rubs.

I use the Shires muzzle and I really like them. The one I'm currnelt using has been used for 15-18 months and is doing well. You can pad them out a bit more too if needs be, I use noseband sleeves/fleecy type girth sleeves as a cheap and easy option!

Shires type one for my horse, greenguard ones are rubbish they should recall all the small ones, theyare so expensive as well, thats why when I got mine I wasn't impressed and had my money back from manufacturer when I moaned. Its putting horses/ponies lives as risk for god sake

The best and most effective one is the Best Friend Grazing Muzzle. It is american but you can buy them here, they come in lost of different sizes and are made from soft but strong rubber. The eating hole is about the size of a 10p. but they have webbing on the sides so they don't get too hot. It can be attached to a headcollar by 4 strong double velcro wraps or bought permanently attached to their own headcollar. I think it is better to buy the detached version and use your own headcollar.
