What is the best thing about horse ownership?

I have had my boy for 3 years and known him for about 5 years and it has been a bit of a roller coaster.

Wondering what makes you get out of your bed for your horses and what makes u smile

I love when my two whinney to me when I arrive at the yard, and the way that Manni keeps whickering to me as I move around the yard mucking out, filling water etc.

Getting my "me" time with my two beautiful boys away from work, house, husband, daughter and life in general! Love it!

I wish I knew! Horses are just strangely addictive, I don't know what it is that makes us all so crazy about them...
It certainly isnt the early mornings and hard work, but even on those days where everything goes wrong from the horse being a complete pain to feeling like my riding is awful, something still makes me think its worth it

For me its when you lose yourself in schooling, nothing else in the world matters when its you and your horse and you are working on something together.
